Texas Baby Photographer
I have to start off first by saying this session was bittersweet as a Texas Baby Photographer. When you welcome the Army into your life you know the goodbyes are there. When you are a Texas baby photographer and you welcome the Army into your life you get a lot closer to the family then you would ever expect. This family was on my “special” list. I met this mom over a year ago when she was pregnant with her second little girl. We met for a maternity shoot while her husband was away. I always have a special place for the moms that do it without their soldier nearby. I had my children before the Army came into our life and I could not even imagine it without my soldier. We clicked immediately during this shoot and I knew we would be perfect for each other. Not too long after our maternity shoot, she asked me to capture her baby girls entrance into the world and without a single doubt I said “YES”! Birth Photography is something that I have always been drawn to. I love children and I love birth stories. It seriously cannot get any better then recording the entrance of love.
In the last two years I have had the amazing opportunity as a Texas Baby Photographer to work with this family in a maternity session, birth session, newborn session, Christmas session, coming home session, and now lastly a cake smash for this little princess. They are now on their way to Ft. Carson and I will be on my way to Ft. Bragg. As an Army wife I know all too well about see-ya-laters, but as a photographer I feel like I will be missing so much of their life. I can’t wait until the day our lives cross paths again and hopefully we can work out that family session next year during my West Coast destination shoots.
